Golf Physiotherapy and Osteopathy

A golf swing is a highly complex sequence of movements which, in addition to a good mental preparation, requires an optimally coordinated interaction of the entire musculoskeletal system. Pain in the back, shoulders, elbows or knees blocks the free swing and thus represents an unexpected handicap that can not compensate for the best golf equipment. Therefore, every golfer should strive to improve their individual physical conditions.

Golf physiotherapy is a movement therapy for the treatment of golf-specific diseases of the body. A movement analysis and an analysis of physical deficits for mobility, strength and stability are the basis of a specially tailored strength and momentum training for muscle building and joint stabilization. With a healthy golf swing, golfing is fun at any age. In our practice, the latest findings from the research on the PGA-supported healthy golf swing are ready. The targeted treatment of pain syndromes at e.g. Back pain, hip problems, golf arm, shoulder-neck tension, knee problems not only lets them go on the golf course with a new swing.

Typical golf-specific complaints are, for example, injuries and overloads in the following sections of the body:

  • Metatarsophalangeal joint,
  • ankle,
  • Knee,
  • Hip,
  • lumbar spine,
  • Pelvic,
  • Shoulder,
  • elbows,
  • Wrist,
  • Metacarpophalangeal joint,
  • cervical spine

After personal analysis, an individual treatment plan is made with golf-specific exercises for your injury.
