Vaginismus and pain during intercourse

Vaginismus, an involuntary cramping of the vagina and the entire pelvic floor, not only makes sexual intercourse extremely painful, but often even makes it impossible to insert a tampon. Vaginismus - as well as impotence - is one of the official sexual dysfunctions. Sufferers describe it as a stinging, tightness and burning sensation. Many of them live in years of austerity in a constant conflict between wanting and not-knowing. How many women really suffer from vaginismus is unknown. In medical samples, the prevalence of decades spent in ten to 15 percent of women examined.

The first step of osteopathic treatment is initially a so-called physical perception training in which women learn to explore and understand their body. Only then could one develop a sexual identity. Self-doubt can be overcome, which often causes vaginismus in younger women.
In osteopathic practice, causes are revealed that can exist in the form of blockages on a mechanical level. Joints, muscles or fascia are examined and interference fields diminished. The craniosacral system has an influence on body fluids and the hormonal system. Hypnotherapy increases the range of therapeutic approaches and is often used in the long-term pathology to the restructuring of the emotional energy system.
I would like to point out that in practice there is absolute discretion and attentiveness in dealing with people in themselves and with the body.
